changes August 2002

2 August 2002 The results of the IFAN study on the Use of International Standards is completed. For the purpose of the study a questionnaire was made available to standards users worlwide. The electronic version of the questionnaire was displayed on the NKN website from 1 Januar 2001 up to May 2002. Websites of several standardization related organisations, such as IFAN, ISO, IEC, NIST, etc. had provided a link to the questionnaire. The final report is now available. Detail information and a slide presentation is available in the Forum section of IFAN online. We would be pleased to receive comments on the report.

changes May 2002

12 May 2002 Button "document archive" on the entrance page was formerly linked to information about the conference range "Normalisatie 2000+". This conference range was organised from 1996 - 2000. Information about the upcoming NKN-meeting added to the calendar page.

changes 2001

In 2001 several additions and revisions are made on the pages: publication of the month, calendar and links.

4 December 2001 NKN-conference "Compliance Management and Conformity Assessment". Again the NKN-conference was organised in close co-operation with NEN.

changes 2000

In 2000 a number of cosmetical changes on the entrance page are finalized. Also the colours used in the site are changed conform the 216 browser save colours also the table size on all pages is changed in relation to a screen resolution of 800x600.

A number of IFAN issues are brought under the attention, such as: the "Global Market Sector Concept". Also the IFAN questionnaire "on the use of International Standards" is made available.

23 November 2000 NKN-conference "e-Normalisatie", this year in close co-operation with NEN. for the first time use is made of an online form. Also an application form for NKN-membership and the NKN statutes are made available in pdf-format.

Several additions and changes to URL's op the links page. Severalk articles added to the publication of the month page. Several updates on the calander page.

changes 1999

The year 1999 we moved the NKN-site to its own domain (We had 3000 vistors in the first year on the web). Also we did a complete restyling of the site entrance page, added several navigation buttons for better access to all pages. Information rearranged on all pages (based upon a screen resolution of 800x750 pixels). HTML-code of all pages corrected (after using the CSE HTML-Validator).

Added a members only area (username and password required) to the site, access through membership page.
 
Further we had several updates of the calander page and added several articles on the publication of the month page. Also we added, removed and updated several pages.

changes 1998

The year 1998 the NKN homepage is started. Besides several changes to the total site lay-out also several minor changes are executed on several pages. To achieve an atractive site several graphics are added to pages (in a minimum amount).

During this year several improvements to the navigation structure are executed, this to offer an optimal navigation to the visitors, also a sitemap is added.

Besides several addendums, re-arrangements and changes of the textual information on pages also several pages are added and deleted during the year.

  Complete facelift of all pages, except the start page (home).
1 November 1998  Complete facelift of the start page (home).
7 June 1998          Complete facelift (bilingual) of the NKN site,
                           no changes of information on the individual pages.
3 May 1998          Started the English translation of the information on all pages.
28 March 1998      Publication on the Internet.
